Summary
The Software Engineer Level III will work closely with the Software Engineering team members to design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications.
Duties And Responsibilities
Take the lead in designing, developing enhancing, and maintaining Job Scheduler-based client applications, using the Agile/Scrum development process.
Conduct code reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure that the software development standards are being adhered to by teammates and junior engineers
Prioritize the work of self and others to meet milestones and delivery due dates
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required.
Demonstrated experience (3 - 5 years, on average) with SQL, SSIS and Stored Procedure development and maintenance
Demonstrated knowledge of performance tuning and code optimization concepts
Experience in delivering medium-sized project from inception to deployment (the full software development lifecycle)
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Deep working knowledge of all ODS departments, workflows, business processes and our industry
Working Conditions
Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
