Regional Sales Manager (South/Eastern Territory)

JOB SUMMARY: The South\/Eastern Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing our business in the territory. Key success factors in this role are the identification, development, and closure of new business and fulfillment of existing business. Johanson's products include a variety of capacitors, chip antennas and integrated passive components.

This position requires confidentiality; the company has many Non-Disclosure Agreements with customers who require confidentiality. The position involves handling confidential information and is expected to maintain proper security for all documents and follow privacy procedures at all times and occasionally will work with ITAR controlled documents. As such, US citizenship or permanent resident status is required.

Responsible for growing Johanson business in the territory

Develop a sales plan and drive our business:

Train our distribution partners to enable business growth.

Grow sales by 10% annually.

Grow customer base by 15% annually.

Cross selling all Johanson products.

Semi-Annual Corporate Forecast review and update.

Conduct periodic business reviews with distribution partners and create recovery plans when necessary.

Work to ensure business tracking of local Design Wins to out of territory production purchase orders.

Ensure detailed and accurate use for our CRM team selling & business tracking system.

Develop & assume leadership role for strategic accounts.

Minimum of 20 customer meetings\/month and publish call reports within 48 hours.

Manage our Reps\/Agents to maximize revenue and pipeline performance and adjust as needed.

Work with Business\/Product Development Managers to develop new business for their respective product lines.

Work with customers to identify ideas for new Johanson products.

Develop and execute growth plans with Johanson Distribution partners (i.e., Arrow)

Capable of following Company and Department procedures\/policies.

Previous experience in a similar function for an electronic components company

Experienced in value-based selling and or solution-based selling.

Strong attention to detail

Excellent organization, communication and closing skills.

Excellent follow-up skills by responding quickly and efficiently.

Ability to effectively prioritize competing requests.

Ability to follow virtual meeting etiquette such as having camera on, dressing appropriately and awareness of your surroundings (background and noise distractions).

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment This position operates in a home office environment and requires travel throughout assigned territory or as designated by Management Traveling via automobile, train, and airplane as necessary. This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. Remote work associates who begin a Remote Work arrangement must have, at a minimum, a reliable, high-speed internet connection for remote access (VPN), consisting of 25 Mbps or greater download speeds and 5 Mbps upload or greater, a cell phone meets company requirements and a headset\/earbuds with microphone and noise canceling capability.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

10+ years of passive component sales in Regional Sales Management role.

Three (3)+ years sales experience in the automotive market.
