Be a forcing factor within the organization as we transform to a world leading SRE organization
Bring a depth of experience to lead troubleshooting during important outages involving multiple large-scale distributed software applications, networks, and cloud infrastructure
Advocate for the customer experience by addressing and mitigating problems within customer environments across the globe
Ensure focused leadership, coordination, and streamlined decision-making during critical incidents with multiple teams engaged
Build technical training capabilities to ensure the SRE organization is a destination for people in their career while providing a learning culture.
Promote a comprehensive and scalable observability strategy that supports rapid problem isolation diagnosis
Promote organizational excellence by building scalable process frameworks which bring rapid responses to availability issues
Work with product teams to ensure we thoroughly analyze failures and apply holistic insights to fail faster, fail smaller, and fail less often in the future
Ensure new services and iterations of existing services are built for reliability, scalability and ease of operations
Champion SRE principles and practices within Engineering Department
Lead projects from intake to closure
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
Make sound judgments
1+ years of experience leading a team of engineers
Expert level knowledge in at least one of the following infrastructure components: Systems, Network or Observability
Customer-first attitude and focus on providing the best service for customers
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving computer systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
