Position Overview
CoJourney is looking for a Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in our marketing efforts. This role will require a multi-faceted approach, encompassing coordination of trade shows, development of marketing materials, prospecting, and project management. The ideal candidate is adaptable, creative, and ready to take on diverse responsibilities in a startup environment.
Please be aware that, due to the startup nature of CoJourney, you will have the opportunity to take on various roles, which may extend beyond marketing. These responsibilities may include tasks such as handling shipments, and coordinating with production for tasks related to our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Show Coordination:
Plan, organize, and execute CoJourney's presence at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics.
Develop strategies to maximize engagement and generate leads during events.
Marketing Material Development: Work with scientific leads and BD to develop marketing strategy for pre-clinical and early phase manufacturing targeting cell and gene therapies.
Create and update marketing collateral, presentations, white papers, and promotional materials. Annual marketing plan development and quarterly refresh of materials
Develop clear and differentiating message platforms to support unit / indication-specific growth and aligned to overall company branding.
Develop and validate customer needs/insights that support proposed marketing strategy
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
Collaborate with design and content teams to produce engaging content.
Prospecting: Identify potential clients and partners through market research and segmentation.
Assist in lead generation efforts through email campaigns, cold calls, and networking.
Maintain a database of prospects and track engagement.
Project Management: Manage marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate marketing initiatives.
Manage logistics of CoJourney products, samples and material at the Pennsylvania site.
General Marketing Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform marketing decisions.
Contribute to social media management and digital marketing efforts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Science, Business, or related field preferred
4 years of marketing experience, preferably in the life sciences or biotechnology industry
Strong project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software tools
Adaptability and willingness to take on various roles in a startup environment
Knowledge of advanced therapies and CDMO industry is a plus
Ability to speak Chinese is a plus
