Reports to: VP of Marketing

Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, Puttshack is looking for a fun, super organized go-getter that will be a key player and decision maker on our marketing team. The Digital Marketing Director will focus on:

Building the strategy for a seamless digital experience that supports a full-funnel approach

Developing the full lifecycle of the brand's digital strategy across all digital platforms, including but not limited to paid advertising, CRM, SEO and website

Evaluating first party data to inform strategy and deliver personalized and engaging campaigns

Analyzing digital performance to provide insights, optimizing processes and delivering a strong ROI

Collaborating with Brand and Communications teams to build strong omni-channel campaigns and programs

Orchestrating cross-departmental initiatives to evolve the offering for our guests and user experience for our audience

This role requires a person with a strong strategic vision and the ability to execute on initiatives while overseeing a small team.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Paid Media Campaign Management:

Partner with Brand and Communications Teams on annual planning, leading the digital strategy.

Develop and execute comprehensive paid search, paid social, and programmatic display ad campaigns and more, aligning with organizational goals and marketing objectives.

Lead the creation of campaign strategies, including defining target audiences, overseeing channel mix, setting budgets, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs).

Monitor performance, analyze KPIs, generate reports and present findings.

Expertly utilize GA4, other Google products and tools, Meta Ads Manager and additional paid/organic search-related tools and analytics platforms

Loyalty & CRM Oversight:

Oversee the strategy for Puttshack's loyalty program, inclusive of SMS, email marketing and automation campaigns with Loyalty Manager, driving repeat visits and incremental revenue.

User Experience & Website Optimization:

Work closely with Web Specialist to optimize user experience and improve website performance

Provide insight on SEO optimization to be actioned by Web Specialist

Analyze website data, user behavior, and test results to draw insights and recommend actionable enhancements

Collaborate with Web Design agency and liaise between partner and software teams

Oversee and optimize Content Management System

Leadership:

Assign and manage digital marketing budget, inclusive of vendor contracts and ad spend.

Stay on top of industry trends, market dynamics and competitor performance.

Maintain working knowledge of data privacy policy and consumer protection laws to ensure compliance.

Responsible for leading a small team that includes a Loyalty Manager and a Web Specialist

Function as main point of contact for digital marketing agency, and support vendor management for marketing technology partners.

Function as lead for a variety of cross-departmental initiatives, partnering with Tech, Finance and Operations teams as required, owning all digital channels and products.

Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

8+ years experience in digital marketing

BS/BA degree in Marketing, or relevant field

Experience within F&B industry or entertainment venues, specifically multi-unit

2+ years experience with people management

Highly experienced in using Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Tag Manager, SEO and some HTML skills

Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, project management experience, problem-solving mindset; interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Experience building and maintaining strong cross functional relationships

This role requires 0-5% travel

Ability to be in office (River North) 3 days per week

This position must pass a post-offer background check

Physical Requirements:

Work environment-the marketing team works in the office 3 days of the week. The team operates at a fast pace, with an always willing to help mentality.

Physical demands-the physical demands of the job include bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
