About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategy and Revenue to play a pivotal role in the business strategy and sales execution for its upcoming Base Camp project, which includes a significant public space renovation and the development of new guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the business strategy for various revenue streams, including ticket sales, tours, group sales, food & beverage, retail, and event programming. This role demands a deep understanding of the tourism and hospitality industries, proven success in meeting gross and net revenue targets, and the ability to create and implement business strategies. The VP will also be tasked with team development and leadership, overseeing the retail and F&B teams, and ensuring that the guest experience aligns with the company's brand and mission.Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree (Advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 15 years' experience in the tourism and hospitality industries, with at least 7 years in a management role. The role requires a leader with a strong background in developing new revenue streams, a deep understanding of current industry trends, and the ability to establish strong partnership relationships. The VP must be adept at working in a fast-paced, multi-phase project environment and be available to work nights, weekends, and be on call 7 days a week.
