Human Resources Site Business Partner

Overview:
The HR Business Partner partners closely with the site leadership team to ensure talent strategies are aligned with the business priorities and are effectively deployed. The role collaborates across the HR organization to effectively support the needs of the business while ensuring high employee engagement
Responsibilities:
Ensures the HR processes are effectively deployed at the site level (Talent Management & Acquisition, Workforce planning, Compensation programs, Employee Engagement, etc.)
Partners with Talent Acquisition to ensure staffing needs are met.
Works with sites and Total Rewards to ensure competitive pay, good working conditions, effective leadership to ensure high engagement levels.
Works with site leadership team to ensure a robust successions plan are in place with development plans in place for succession candidates.
Analyzes talent trends and metrics in partnership with the HR organization to develop solutions driving business results.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the HR Leadership and legal teams as needed/required.
Provides day-to-day coaching to site business leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, workforce planning, employee and union relations, employee engagement programs, performance management, succession planning and federal and state respective employment laws.
Bachelor's degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effectively collaborates across different functions and levels.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Travel up to 10%
Compensation:
Compensation Range $80,000.00 to $95,000.00
