As the Senior Director, Finance , you will play a pivotal role in defining financial strategies and driving financial operations across the business. You’d be a critical member of the team, spotting new opportunities, filling the gaps, and raising the bar to enable Celigo to scale rapidly and thoughtfully. You’ll work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including the executive team, functional leadership, and various internal and external business partners.

This position requires exceptional communication skills with a strong SaaS business acumen, analytical, organizational skills and the ability to lead a finance team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with key stakeholders to help define and monitor important financial and operations metrics, develop and implement dashboards and reporting tools to track and communicate key performance indicators.

Drive adoption of key metrics based management across the company.

Provide insights and recommendations based on detailed financial analysis and projections.

Develop new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning/reporting.

Collaborate with the executive team to drive business performance and strategic initiatives while providing financial guidance and support to department heads and other key stakeholders.

Prepare financial presentations and reports for board meetings and investor communications.

Support key financing initiatives, debt, capital, strategic acquisitions analysis and implementation.

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team and foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the finance department.

Support ad hoc projects and help define systems improvements to support Celigo’s growth and drive operational outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a SaaS company.

Strong understanding of SaaS business models, metrics, and financial reporting requirements.

Excellent proficiency in corporate finance and GAAP accounting concepts is a must.

Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems.

Should have exceptional level of Excel and presentation preparation skills.

Proven ability to lead and inspire a finance team, with excitement to both roll up your sleeves and be a thoughtful, company-wide partner.

Experience leading complex workstreams

Familiarity with financial planning processes and mid-market/enterprise business systems

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with unquenchable curiosity

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $200,000 per year and $240,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
