Primary Purpose of the General Manager Position:As the General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of the club's operations. Responsibilities:
Leadership:Provide strategic leadership and vision to the team while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Develop and maintain strong relationships with the team, ensuring effective communication, motivation, and professional development.Service Excellence:Uphold the club's commitment to delivering personalized and exceptional service to members, consistently exceeding their expectations.Oversee the implementation of service standards, training programs, and quality assurance measures to maintain a consistently high level of member satisfaction.Operational Management:Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including front-of-house, food and beverage, events, maintenance, and member programming.Ensure efficient coordination and collaboration between departments to provide a seamless member experience.Financial Performance:Develop and manage the annual budget and monthly forecasts, analyzing financial data and implementing cost-control measures to maximize profitability.Drive revenue generation through strategic marketing initiatives, membership retention strategies, and innovative offerings to enhance the member experience.Compliance:Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting as necessary.Implement and enforce club policies and procedures to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment for members and staff.Membership:Works closely with the membership team to develop strategies for attracting and retaining high-caliber individuals.Foster strong relationships with members, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and proactively.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the luxury hospitality industry, with a strong track record of operational excellence and financial performance in a high-volume F&B setting.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Experience executing successful high-profile restaurant openingsStrong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.In-depth knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements.Familiarity with membership-based organizations and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
