We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Cengage. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to sales and revenue growth by actively promoting and selling our world-class large print books and related products to customers primarily in the Public Library market. As a valuable member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships, recognizing sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. **What you'll do here:**

+ Actively engage in sales activities to meet or exceed assigned sales targets

+ Identify and prospect new customers within the assigned territory

+ Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to potential customers

+ Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline

+ Present product information and benefits to customers

+ Negotiate and close sales deals

**Skills you will need here:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred); equivalent experience will also be considered.

+ Proven experience in inside sales or a related customer-facing role

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Excellent negotiation and closing skills

+ Proactive and dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes

+ Ability to build and maintain customer relationships

+ Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

+ Knowledge of the publishing industry and large print books is a plus

**Compensation**

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$19.00 - $30.50 USD
