Summary
The District Sales Manager will be responsible for effectively managing sales growth and customer relationships for Hiring Company’s Mezzanine products in the Western region of the United States. This role will prospect for new potential customers within their assigned territory and promote Hiring Company Mezzanine products, leading up to selling Mezzanine projects. Once projects are sold, the District Sales Manager will be responsible for clearly communicating project expectations to Engineers and Project Managers for execution and delivery of Mezzanine products. Additionally, this individual will manage existing customer relationships and is responsible for continuing business between the customer and Hiring Company.
The District Sales Manager will also play a crucial role in helping the marketing department brand Hiring Company, Inc. in the Western region. This may involve collaborating with marketing to target specific markets or projects within the territory and ensuring consistent brand representation.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Senior Director of Sales to establish sales goals and plans to achieve those goals within the assigned region.
Identify and target customers, including, but not limited to, dealers, end users, OEMs, GCs, and integrators, in the assigned Region. This includes using proficiency in presentations, field measurements, project flow, and lead/customer updates.
Conduct meetings with prospective and current customers, as well as end-users, to understand their needs and promote Hiring Company products and services.
Continuously seek new and innovative ways to go to market, including new products and tactics.
Provide feedback on “voice of customer” related to marketing efforts to support overall branding and messaging.
Travel within the assigned region to meet with prospective and current customers. The District Sales Manager should expect to spend up to 60% of their work time and activities in front of prospects.
Contribute to the team by completing tasks in a timely manner.
Continuously grow professionally through involvement in trade associations, strategic partnerships, conferences and continuing education.
Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of outside sales experience required
Ability to visit clients onsite and be comfortable in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution environment
Knowledge and understanding of building material product
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with prospective and existing customers to present and sell Hiring Company products
Proven track record of success in sales in an assigned territory
Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task and changing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to lead and facilitate sales and product presentations
Strong attention to detail
Strong customer focus with the ability to manage and resolve difficult customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs
