Overview
Companies are made of people! Our Representatives represent Mexcor International in the marketplace as an ambassador of the Mexcor brand. This individual is passionate, innovative, and self-motivated with a business-oriented mindset with a laser focus on customer service. Our Representative's primary responsibilities are to visit the customer, have the right consultative sales approach, and increase sales revenue. Face-to-face consultative selling built on trusting relationships drives maximum value to our customer and supplier partners as well as to the Mexcor organization.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust and value.
Work with stakeholders to identify their business growth needs while developing Mexcor brands.
Develop a customer business growth plan for each team member and their distributor to build a pipeline of selling opportunities and drive incremental sales above base business.
Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives.
Regularly and consistently pre-plan key-account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities.
Create, Plan, and activate "Plan on a Page" (POP) for Division.
Maintain deep knowledge of Mexcor product catalogs and correctly present and position them in the market.
Achieve internal Mexcor metrics and objectives as prioritized by Mexcor sales leaders.
Manage Distributor activity in Accounts Receivable and Payable
Utilize Mexcor Technology and category information for the betterment of Mexcor Brands
"Go Big!" Seek game-changing opportunities for Mexcor.
Maintain Planning Calendar Set forth by Sales and Marketing Centrally
Program Mexcor Initiatives Based on Mexcor Priority
"Own Your Budget"
Participate in regular sales meetings, on-site training, and supplier events as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
21 years or older
5+ Years' experience in The U.S. Three Tier System of Beverage Alcohol Sales
Proficient in Pricing and Programming
Able to analyze and understand data/information while communicating effectively and clearly to a tailored audience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Proficient and professional use of Mexcor's technology (e.g., iPad, smartphone, MS Office, various programs) to perform duties and responsibilities including the ability to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals.
Able to take responsibility for own actions and results; commits to providing a consistently high level of service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
Proficient in inspiring sales team and associates
Able to be nimble in ambiguity; be open to change; embrace innovative ideas.
Able to maintain a valid and current driver's license.
College Level Degree Preferred
Able to travel as needed.
