Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a high-priority search for a Director of Development on behalf of our client, a national healthcare nonprofit. This is an exciting direct-hire, hybrid position based in Tulsa, OK.
Responsibilities:
Create and execute a strategic growth plan to increase revenue through impactful fundraising events, strategic partnerships with the market, and fostering relationships with philanthropic supporters.
Drive revenue generation by nurturing relationships with corporate sponsors and individual donors, ensuring their continued involvement and increased financial contributions through personalized engagement strategies.
Cultivate strong connections with volunteers, sponsors, and influential leaders in the community to drive participation events, collaborating closely with internal teams at local, regional, and national levels to strengthen donor relations.
Recruit and empower executive volunteer leaders, implementing a comprehensive cultivation strategy throughout the year to sustain engagement and support for our cause.
Develop a robust pipeline of potential corporate sponsors, individual donors, and volunteer leaders, strategically advancing our mission and expanding our network of supporters.
Lead peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
Engage and mobilize corporate fundraising teams for events inspiring and supporting their fundraising endeavors.
Curate impactful donor experiences and organize engaging events to deepen connections and foster a sense of community among our supporters.
Qualifications: Extensive leadership experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field.
Ability to travel within the Greater Tulsa area, engaging with C-suite executives approximately 75% of the time; must have access to reliable transportation.
Proven track record in cultivating major donors, securing large corporate sponsorships (six figures), and identifying and securing foundation gifts.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Compensation:
This opportunity offers an annual salary up to $87,000 DOE with potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your annual salary. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, generous PTO, paid holidays, retirement plan with employer contributions, and more!
