We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Software Engineer who can design, develop and test software for our industry leading laser beam profiling systems. Responsibilities include:
Developing software programs to meet the requirements and constraints of the customer scope of work
Working with our beam profiling technologies; learning new measurement methodologies and implementing advanced algorithms.
Work within a highly skilled team to accomplish all the deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (design, development, testing, and implementation)
Developing solutions to complex scientific problems
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
What you will bring to the team, along with your curiosity and excitement for science and technology:
The desire to grow and expand your knowledge base
BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Experience with all aspects of a Software Development Life Cycle (design, development, testing, and implementation)
Software development expertise with a deep understanding of C++, VB.Net, Java, and/or C#. We are a C# shop developing desktop scientific applications for laser diagnostics.
Expertise in GUI (WPF) development is a plus
Experience in image processing a plus
Experience with optics a plus
Experience with OOD, TDD and CI a plus
Experience with Agile Development and Scrum a plus
This position offers flexible work options allowing for on-site and/or remote work. Even if remote based, we are seeking candidates commutable to our N. Logan, UT location as candidates will be expected to be on-site as necessary.
