The Infrastructure Engineer works on holistic engineering deliverables across different stages of the product lifecycle and determines technology patterns for the overall solution. This role takes the lead in guiding more junior engineers and is a role model in fostering the adoption of new technologies. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

**Responsibilities**

+ Responsible to build and maintain API environment & API Platform team for bank.

+ Responsible to design, install, configure, and manager end-to-end infrastructure.

+ Responsible for install, configuration, and maintenance of CA Layer7 gateways.

+ Create custom load balancer feature for backend systems on CA Layer7 Gateways

+ Complete migration knowledge from one version to another version.

+ Create full-life cycle of policy migration process using GMU.

+ Create patching strategy- and standards for operations and code deployments.

+ Implement Wiki system for documentation and cookbook documents for rollouts of major initiatives.

+ Provide architecture and third level support for middleware platform.

+ Troubleshoot J2EE application issues, such as performance related, hung issues, DB connection pools, and network bottleneck.

+ Design and develop IBM WebSphere DataPower services such as XML firewall, web service proxy, and multi-protocol gateway.

+ Perform end-to-end tasks on IBM DataPower including administration, configuration, interface design, development, and support.

+ Achieves product commitments (and influences others to do the same) by using informal leadership & highly developed communication skills and contributes to or led technology communities

+ Uses automation, system tools, open-source solutions, observability and 'security first' principles in daily work

+ Contributes to team agile ceremonies, leads demos and presentations, helps new engineers learn established norms

+ Initiates high level solution design approaches, and guides team to achieve desired key software delivery capabilities using automated, coded enterprise and observability

+ Participates in internal speaking and advocacy events

+ Supports research activities to adopt new technology solutions in ways of developing new capabilities

+ Continues professional education and creates opportunities for core product teams to learn engineering best practices

+ Coaches immediate chapter and actively fosters the adoption of new technologies

**Minimum Qualifications**

**At a minimum,** **here’s** **what we need from you:**

+ Bachelors – Computer Science or related

+ 3+ Years – (Software) Engineering, DevOps or related

+ Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale

**Preferred Qualifications**

**Bonus Points If You Have:**

+ Extensive knowledge on CA APIM 9.0, 9.1 Gateways

+ Demonstrated experience on developer portal 3.5 & 4.2

+ Good knowledge of different version of OAuth

+ Installation, configuration of CA Layer7 (8.1) with OTK 3.2

+ Installation of MAG along with mobile SDK

+ Knowledge on how to ingrate couple of pieces to create touch ID for mobile applications

+ Worked with Linux VM and VMWare and zone in Solaris

**Compensation:**

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $86,500.00 to $146,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
