Overview
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will report to the Global Leader of Portfolio Analytics and Business Intelligence. You will be part of a team of technology innovators working to disrupt corporate real estate. You will be utilizing and productizing the intersection of data intelligence, data visualization, analytics, technology, and automation. This position will require your interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, and real estate analytical expertise to implement business intelligence-based technologies for our clients. You will work directly with clients, Managing Directors, Service Line Leaders, Brokers, and Consultants.
Chicago area preferred.
Responsibilities
Delivering presentations and demos of our portfolio analytics and business intelligence technologies.
Guiding clients through our technology onboarding process and teaching them about product features and value.
Working with clients and stakeholders to understand their real estate technology requirements, identify gaps in our offerings, and help to develop new products.
Educating the Avison Young community about the value of data intelligence and advanced analytics in generating insights.
Accountable for client satisfaction and a positive customer experience of our portfolio analytics technology toolset.
Participate in real estate industry events, panel discussions, press releases, and presentations.
Maintain a knowledge of competitor technologies.
Work as part of a team to engage our clients to leverage our technology tools and data intelligence with analysis and insights.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of commercial real estate or consulting experience preferred, but other relevant professional experience considered.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to engage, present and communicate with colleagues and clients and produce complex deliverables under tight deadlines in partnership with an interdisciplinary team.
Highly motivated and energetic individual with the ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
Adaptable to thrive in a fast-paced and quickly changing workplace and market environment, with various and evolving client and work priorities.
