About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to join their dynamic and evolving organization. The successful candidate will be a proactive and relationship-focused procurement expert with a strong leadership background. Responsibilities for this role include leading a team of professionals in the design of strategies to enhance efficiencies, align with best practices, and support the community in supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management. The Executive Director will also be tasked with providing strategic direction, solutions-oriented leadership, and managing a significant procurement spend across various functional areas. A key aspect of the role is the development and execution of strategic sourcing plans, as well as the enhancement of technological utilization and processes to ensure excellence in the procurement of a wide range of commodities.The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will have a proven track record in progressively responsible leadership roles, experience in strategic sourcing, and a talent for team management. They should be an exceptional project manager and communicator, capable of cultivating relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires an individual with an adaptable mindset, energized by the opportunity to implement long-term strategies for operational success within a changing organization. The Executive Director will also serve as the ambassador for contemporary procurement initiatives, embodying the values of partnership, excellence, and continual improvement.
