Job Posting Summary

Mercy University’s DPT program is looking for teaching assistants to assist with specific courses. Teaching assistants will assist in the labs as well as potentially giving some lectures. They may also be asked to assist outside of the classroom for review sessions or other events to improve student success.

Compensation is based on a semester and calculated on a semi-monthly pay cycle.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

+ 1-2 years teaching experience

Education Requirements:

+ Must be a licensed physical therapist and hold either a DPT degree with or without board certified APTA specialization.

Physical/Other Requirements:

+ Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies

Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual.

Mercy University promotes a community campus environment. As a result, employment is limited to the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Applicants outside of those states or the USA will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible moves.
