Job Description

You will lead Experian’s North America Finance team on a multi-year transformation journey. You will also be the finance business partner for Experian’s regional corporate functions, partnering with the CHRO, CFO, heads of Legal, Strategy, Facilities and other regional cost centers. You will lead several teams, including on-shore and off-shore resources.

Partner closely with NA Finance SLT (Senior Leadership Team), GFS (Global Finance Services), and other key stakeholders in executing a regional finance transformation initiative

Deliver a future-looking operating model for business unit finance teams

Maximize leverage of off-shore FP&A teams, as well as smart automation and ML capabilities

Enable NA Finance to meet global goals and establish industry-leading best practices with Fast Close and Fast Forecast initiatives

Lead a team of three resources with data science and project management experience to drive significant BU-specific and regional automation initiatives

Support the regional goal of optimizing the P2C journey by eliminating custom systems and processes and leveraging enterprise and/or regional solutions

Build multi-year investment cases for investments in automation, including AI and ML use in finance

Lead a finance team dedicated to NA Region corporate expense ($200m annual budget)

Partner with regional functional leaders in HR, Legal, Facilities, Corporate Events and Communications, Strategy, Finance and others, to drive sounds cost management, ROI mentality, and accurate budgeting and forecasting

Become an expert in key areas of regional costs, including APP bonus, stock comp, and benefits

Recruit, develop, and direct a lean team that works closely with the business to deliver on strategic objectives

Drive an outside-in perspective by understanding and sharing industry best practices

Act as a thought leader in the region on Productivity and Automation

Successfully work on multiple projects, understand the details, while at the same time be able to advise strategically on big picture challenges

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field or equivalent practical experience. MBA or CPA preferred.

A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in finance, corporate strategy, or similar environment, including FP&A.

People leadership experience and a history of building high-performing teams

Role model a growth mindset and promote continuous improvement / process efficiency

Expert communicator across different audiences, with significant prior exposure to senior executives

A proven track record of partnering with the business to deliver significant financial outcomes

Thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
