Job description
Our client is an $11bn global technology focused venture capital firm with a track record spanning over a decade.
Responsibilities
The position will focus on investing in early-stage venture capital funds and providing GPs with flexible capital across primary fund commitments. The team also invests directly in secondaries, direct co-investments and special situations.
Daily responsibilities include participating in meetings with fund managers, proactive sourcing and conducting due diligence of potential investment opportunities as well as monitoring existing investments and managing the deal pipeline.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of total work experience in venture capital, private equity investing or another capital allocation role
· Extensive knowledge of and interest in the venture capital, growth and technology landscape.
· Excellent academic credentials, Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably within a finance, economics or mathematics discipline
· Experience in conducting research and due diligence, and producing “client ready” investment materials
· Strong quantitative aptitude with a high attention to detail
