Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Provide legal advice to the company on issues related to its business activities

Conduct legal research, analyze legal issues and interpret laws, regulations and rulings

Prepare and/or review legal and corporate documents

Interact with outside counsel and/or third parties

Maintain confidentiality of matters and satisfy standards governing professional responsibility/ethics

Manage the relationship of attorney to client that encourages company leaders to know when to contact the legal department, foster free and open communication of issues, and request prompt involvement of the legal department in matters

Education

Juris Doctorate (ABA accredited law school) and admitted to practice in Oklahoma, or eligible to become admitted in Oklahoma, with current CLE compliance

Work Experience

Up to 3 years relevant legal experience and/or expertise

Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software

Knowledge of: company and/or industry - possess general working knowledge of clients’ business-area specific operations and general Company-wide operations
