Applied Motion Products, Inc. is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s web-based marketing strategy to promote the company’s brand, attract visitors and potential leads, and generate internet sales. This position reports directly to the CEO onsite at the Morgan Hill Corporate Office.
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Grow e-commerce sales revenue
Develop and expand company’s web presence through social media, email, web advertising, and other online sources; promote company brand through these channels
Identify appropriate social media platforms and other web-based tools to use in the promotion of each product or service
Develop innovative strategies and collaborate with web design, development, and content staff to monitor and improve search engine optimization (SEO) results for the company’s site(s) and provide guidance on marketing-related aspects of the company’s web presence
Assist with the development of the organization’s website to ensure its efficiency and efficacy
Recommend improvements and modifications to existing programs and additional or new marketing strategies and opportunities
Compile and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of such plans; analyze existing website traffic and internet activity related to the company and products
Manage Sales Support Specialist(s) and Content Marketing Specialist(s) to ensure active promotions and campaigns are represented on the website(s)
Assist with budget preparation for Marketing department; ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
Collaborate with and coordinate communication among other departments to understand goals and scope of the desired marketing program, complete projects
Report quarterly campaign results to management, addressing any questions or concerns
Maintain current knowledge of online marketing opportunities and trends, web analytics, and SEO techniques
Requirements: Experience
Minimum five years of Marketing experience
Minimum three years of internet marketing experience with a proven and verifiable record of accomplishments
Two years in a leadership role preferred
B2B commerce experience preferred
Skills/Attributes
Proficiency with HTML and web design, proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns, thorough understanding of general marketing principles and strategies, online, and social media marketing are essential
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, and interpersonal and managerial skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Ability to conduct and correctly interpret research and web analytics
Minimum one year of experience with Salesforce
Qualifications (Education, Degrees, Certifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required
