What You’ll Be Doing
As a function of Enterprise Architecture, the Director, Architecture Portfolio Management will collaborate with business and technology partners to ensure the on-going asset management of the technology stack. Leverage your deep knowledge and understanding of technical design principles and architecture best practices to develop strategic plans for managing the health of the portfolio. Use your knowledge, skill and experience to deliver on business objectives, improving the way we work, creating meaningful value and delighting our client base.
The role provides architecture leadership to a team of architects, as well as solution delivery teams, on CIBC practices, standards and patterns, and helps drive innovation across all areas of responsibility, applying expert interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
This role will be focused on helping drive CIBC's US technologies into the future including enabling a more digital experience for our clients and employees.
How You’ll Succeed
Lead Solutions and architecture, within the portfolio of projects/initiatives prescribed, act as an internal consultant to ensure each solution meets the technical standards, guiding principles and architectural practices that CIBC employs to create an extraordinary client experience.
Balance competing interests between the delivery constraints (time and money) with sustainable solutions designed for our modern consumers
Staying Current - you are on top of evolving industry and market strategies that influence the outcome of your work and promote the evolution of our design practice
