About the opportunity
Senior Account Managers are tasked with technical sales duties and are to establish and maintain professional relationships with current and potential clients by providing best-in-class compressed air system products, services, and financing options. Senior Account Managers are expected to be subject matter experts on the full line of products and services and interface with individuals at all levels of our new and current clients.
Essential Job Functions
Serve as the subject matter expert on technical information regarding compressed air systems, accessories, parts, and services.
Generate and respond timely to leads and develop comprehensive sales plans to effectively increase penetration at both the account and geographic market coverage.
Travel to current and prospective customer industrial sites within a designated sales area(s) to optimally apply our products and services, conduct needs assessments, and solicit orders.
Recommend products and services to customers based on their needs, interests, costs, and other factors.
Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service contracts to potential and existing customers.
Review detailed design drawings, specifications, or lists related to compressed air system installations.
Negotiate prices and terms of equipment sales and aftermarket service agreements.
Record prospecting activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Increase organizational awareness within the industrial and manufacturing industries through active networking.
Other tasks as needed or assigned.
About You
Experience selling industrial, capital equipment and/or compressed air systems required
Bachelor's degree from four-year university; 5+ years' B2B industrial equipment sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experienc
Valid Driver's License
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal and effective written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to achieve sales goals.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
