Position Details
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the installation, configuration and support of LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN issues.
Responsible for the installation and support of telecommunications hardware and software.
Recommend appropriate LAN/WAN hardware and software.
Maintain disaster recovery operations and data backups.
Develop documentation for LAN/WAN topology, specs and configurations.
Optimize LAN/WAN performance and reliability to meet business requirements and industry standards.
Implement effective security measures to protect company data and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
At least a 4-years college degree in Information technology or related fields.
5+ years of experience in the design and implementation of LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Must be able to work 100% on-site at the Corporate Office
Strong knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN products and protocols including Meraki firewalls and switches.
Solid experience in LAN/WAN security, diagnostics and performance.
Some travel maybe required outside of the US (less than 10%)
Excellent communication and project management skills
Solid customer service orientation.
