About the Role
The Company is seeking a Finance Vice President to join its Tech Opportunities team. This key leadership role involves providing strategic oversight and management of the entire finance function for the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for all fiscal affairs, including reporting activities, cash management, financing, and risk management. They will also play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day operations of the finance team, as well as providing financial insight to support the business's investment goals. The role includes leading a team of finance professionals and a third-party Fund Administrator, and the VP will be expected to build and enhance a strong accounting and finance team.Applicants should have a minimum of 15-20 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least five years in a lead role, and hold a BS or MBA in finance or accounting (a CPA or CFA is preferred). The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical and strategic thinker, with the ability to translate financial information into business insights. Strong interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and a proven track record of supervisory experience are essential. The role also requires experience in building and leading an accounting and finance team, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively. The VP will be expected to collaborate with the investment team, respond to inquiries from partners, and drive strategic technology and data initiatives.
