Goal of this Position
Continuous Analysis and Improvement of Variosystems Processes to achieve the highest quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Work within the parameters of the QM System to help Variosystems achieve general and company-specific quality efforts and growth goals.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Daily Production Processes Assist as needed with process related issues in all production areas to achieve the highest quality, efficiency, and repeatability possible.
Monitor the overall quality, efficiency, and robustness of production processes and suggest corrections as needed to Department Managers and the Production Manager.
Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts in the production areas as a continuous improvement initiative for Variosystems.
Assist with the continuous improvement of the MES usage (route enforcement, defect reporting/repairing, production tracking, work instructions improvements).
Provide a status report as requested.
Special Projects Initiating New Production Processes as requested by Management and integrating them into daily production.
Perform MSAs (Measuring System Analysis) as required on our current measurement systems.
Perform Process Verifications on critical production processes (ex. Cleaning processes, Wave/Reflow Processes) as requested as an ongoing production improvement effort.
Assist with customer requested process related projects as needed.
Quality Projects Assist Quality Department in creating and maintaining templates for FMEA/PPAPs/Control Plans/etc.
Assist Quality as requested when process issues are involved with corrective actions required; CAR, SCAR, 8D (8 Dimensions), etc.
Assist with implementation for future processes or quality standards.
When requested, review yield and defect data, conduct a root cause down to design, materials, or process, and develop short term/long term solution. Follow the resolution through with the Technical Department/ Project Manager/Department Managers/Quality Managers/Training Department/etc.
Maintain material traceability as required.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Minimum 10 years Electronics Manufacturing Experience
Lean Manufacturing Experience
Motivated and detail orientated personality preferred
