Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and money-motivated Sales Representative based in Southern California to promote and sell our medical devices to new and existing customers. The responsibilities include identifying new opportunities within the territory and quickly closing sales. The Representative must be able to answer customer questions about our products, features and benefits, pricing and availability, technical and clinical applications, and service.
To be successful, the candidate must have strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to multitask, and the capability to convince customers to purchase our products. Ultimately, a top-performing Representative will demonstrate exceptional professionalism, the ability to understand customer needs, and ensure timely support for purchased products.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales quotas set by management.
Proactively canvass the assigned territory to identify new sales opportunities and effectively showcase our products to potential customers.
Collaborate with a co-representative for the Aesthetic Surgery product line to discover new opportunities and close sales.
Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, including providing post-sales training and support as needed.
Generate and follow up on new customer leads, setting appointments to present our products with an emphasis on their features, benefits, and advantages over competitors.
Develop a thorough understanding of competitive products and articulate our product superiority.
Attend regional and national trade shows, workshops, and industry events to generate interest in our products within the territory.
Work with corporate office personnel to prepare sales proposals for potential buyers.
Submit sales reports to management as requested, detailing short and long-term goals and specific customer targets.
Consistently document and manage current and future sales opportunities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program.
Requirements and Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a medical science-related field.
Over 3 years of direct experience with proven success in selling capital equipment and disposables to hospital ORs, ICUs, and clinics, specifically in neurosurgery, vascular and cardiovascular surgery, and aesthetic surgery.
Strong organizational skills.
Charismatic with effective communication skills, knowing when to close the sale.
Ability to clearly articulate features and benefits, persuading customers to purchase our products.
Proficiency in learning, retaining, reciting, and presenting medical/clinical terminology related to our products.
Strong consultative selling skills.
Excellent networking skills.
Effective negotiation skills.
Exceptional customer service and support skills.
