About the Marketing Team
This is an exciting time for the Marketing department of Copart. We are primarily responsible for driving growth, helping members become active buying cars in online auctions, and retaining/re-engaging members to come back and buy more. Digital marketing levers are a big part of our portfolio of tools including SEM, SEO, Merchandising/Promotions, Email/Push Notification communications (CRM), etc. In addition, we are an international operation, supporting multiple country sites and customer centers.
About the Role
The role drives sale of Copart Select (Wholesale, used cars on Copart.com/Select) cars for dealer buyers.
This position is an outside sales position responsible for meeting plan profitability, sales, and customer service levels. The role is working with local Dealers to become new members at Copart and to buy wholesale inventory at Copart to support the Copart Select auction. Identify and secure new business opportunities from dealers. Send targeted vehicle list to dealers interested in Copart Select cars and help them purchase the right cars for them.
Essential Duties :
Meet with dealers in person to help acclimatize them with the wholesale inventory at Copart
Minimum of 40 documented face-to-face sales calls completed per week; entered into database
Setup new buyer accounts through contract admin from phone and road calls
Manage and update buyer recruitment log on a weekly basis
Manage projects and marketing materials for sales calls on a weekly basis
Attend & participate in local Dealers Association including meetings & functions
Meeting or exceeding sales goals/targets
Research & resolve settlement-related issues
Compile & submit expense reports for reimbursement
Other duties as assigned per business needs.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience, basic computer skills
Strong presentation and relationship building skills.
Outgoing attitude
Ability to work independently.
