IT Technician - Voting

DoverStaffing is currently seeking IT Technicians for the temporary Advance Voting Project.
Summary of Position:
Candidates must provide Technical Support for Voting System during Advanced Voting Operations. Duties include troubleshooting issues with power, networking, printing, scanning, poll pads and other voting machine related issues. Report issues, line wait times and other data to the Elections Command Center. Training will be provided.
Requirements:
High School or GED equivalent. An associate degree or technical help desk certification highly desirable.
2 - 3 years' experience in IT trouble shooting and/or working in a Help-Desk environment. High level of computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Advance voting days are approximately 14 -16-hour days. Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Attend an in-person training class assessment with 70% or greater, and complete Cybersecurity Training.
Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs and maximum of 46 lbs.
Staff cannot leave the polling location during Advance Voting Shifts. Breaks are provided during the day including a meal break.
Pay Rate: $18.50 hourly plus Overtime Pay
