Location: Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma

Full-Time | Salaried

Pay Grade 15

Schedule: Varies

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through completion. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate project resources, ensure quality standards are met, and help deliver projects that positively impact our communities.

What You'll Do

As Construction Superintendent, you will work closely with the Construction Project Manager and Senior Superintendent to direct day‑to‑day field operations and ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate schedules for materials, equipment, workforce, and subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality expectations.

Review project scopes and bid packages while identifying field construction and work sequencing considerations.

Manage site utilization, security, logistics, and support services necessary for efficient project operations.

Review shop drawings, product data, and material samples to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout construction.

Verify quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship while maximizing value and service.

Maintain daily reports, field records, and project documentation.

Oversee field testing requirements and communicate results to project stakeholders.

Develop and manage 4-week look‑ahead schedules to keep projects on track.

Monitor subcontractor performance, material deliveries, submittals, and project documentation to support schedule adherence.

Promote and enforce safety standards while maintaining compliance with construction regulations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business , or a related field

OR

Four (4) years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree

Experience & Skills

Minimum 4 years of construction industry experience in a supervisory role

Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, codes, regulations, safety standards, and cost controls

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints

Proficiency with:

Microsoft Office

Microsoft Project

Bluebeam

Other construction and project management technologies

OSHA 10‑Hour Certification required

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
