The In-Home Sales Consultant is responsible for meeting potential customers in their homes and conducting a consultative sales presentation, following up as required, and developing the relationship with the ultimate goal of making a sale and developing a long-term customer relationship. The Sales Consultant will be provided with high-quality leads and will be backed by the Marvin brand. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in the in-home selling environment and will be excited by the opportunity to sell a top-quality product.
**Job Expectations:**
* Represent company professionally delivering outstanding customer experience.
* In-home sales process, product demonstration, proposal development, and contract completion.
* Continued contact with customer developing repeat/referral opportunities.
* Proficient with CRM and electronic pricing tools.
* Ability to run appointments in evenings and on weekends in greater Portland, OR area.
* Continuing education on company, products, and process - always improving craft.
**Experience/Skills/Q****ualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
* Valid driver's license
* 2+ years of in-home sales experience in the home improvement (or similar) industry preferred
* Experience in exterior sales, such as windows, doors, siding, roofing preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A proven track record of closing sales
* Ability to lift 30lbs
