THE ROLE:

As a senior engineering leader, you will advise a team delivering Data Center GPU's and System Solutions, Develop strategies to maintain and increase advantage; anticipates future consequences and trends in the industry; seek change and innovation, champion new insights and initiatives and translate a vision into a legacy for the future of the organization.

Strong understanding of key components of the GPU platform – microprocessor, instruction set architecture, GPU architecture, peripherals, memory subsystem, display/codecs, Windows/Linux operating system fundamentals, BIOS and FW operation, power and performance tradeoffs, GPU ML/HPC workloads , understanding of GPU eco-system (ODMs/OEMs, peripheral components, interoperability, form factors, signal integrity basics etc., ability to learn new upcoming technologies such as inference processing, advanced image processing, codec technologies etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Draw on your consistent track record delivering sophisticated systems to collaborate closely across the systems engineering development life cycle. Build relationships with key customers, problem solve, and manage expectations from end-to-end. Advise at system for delivery of Client platform solutions.

Drive new initiatives to enhance strategy and strengthen competitive edge (power/performance/feature set competitiveness)

Schedule, identify, and drive dependencies for multiple, concurrent programs and manage resource gaps – execution excellence

Set direction and priorities to achieve program goals – predictable execution of portfolio of CPU/GPU/chipset products with full software/firmware integration

Build clarity and rally teams across functions and geographies

Engage technical depth and soft skills to read and adapt to people and situations

Infuse culture change while developing your team and growing team engagement

Hire, develop, mentor, and evaluate highly technical engineers

Knowledge of Data Center RAS, Telemetry ( RedFish, PCIE AER, x86 MCA)

Lead Change Review Boards for Firmware, Software

Knowledge of GPU performance attainment process ( perf per clock, Application performace, Micro benchmarks )

Knowledge of x86 and/or ARM Architecture, PCIe interconnect up to Gen5, memory subsystem up to DDR5 and future, USB technology up to USB4 and future, display technology details, BIOS and FW architecture fundamentals, integration, working closely with customers (ODMs, OEMs) and partners (operating system vendors, application software vendors)

Product development and delivery experience, development/validation/debug methodologies for high effectiveness and efficiency, experience working with cross-geo engineering teams, ability to engage with teams on low level technical details

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred
