About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Facilities Information Technology to provide strategic and operational leadership in managing a diverse portfolio of administrative, life, safety, and specialized systems. The successful candidate will be accountable for the 24x7 reliability, security, and operational integrity of critical systems, including those that monitor the security of high-valued assets. This role involves ensuring the seamless implementation of technology solutions, maintaining a wide portfolio of systems, and providing oversight for system initiatives. The Executive Director will also be responsible for the evaluation and procurement of hardware and software, as well as the operational support and maintenance of a large number of technical devices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, with over 15 years of managerial and technical experience. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a large team and multiple stakeholders. Experience in strategic planning, project management, and a background in diverse technologies are required. The role demands a leader who can balance competing priorities, manage relationships, and ensure that business needs are met. A proven track record in meeting project targets and leading teams, as well as experience in higher education or a related organization, is highly desirable.
