Job Description Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of the Merchandiser, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job description
· Set and reset merchandise in store to match the authorized Plan O Gram layout provided by the Store owner/manager or Merchandising Manager.
· Responsible to perform basic merchandising duties including but not limited to timely updating store order tags, replacing worn pegs, stripping and channel strips; required to maintain adequate inventory of merchandising supplies and tools to remove deleted products and place new products and/or rearrange products.
· Required to assemble or breakdown, install and determine proper placement for racks and store fixtures consistent with increasing profitability to the customer and Company.
· Drive truck, unload and unpack merchandise into appropriate area of the store; maintain neat store appearance by removing boxes/trash generated from merchandising task.
· Timely report needs and changes in the market place to Merchandising Manager.
· Follows direction from Set Leader or Merchandising Manager.
· Responsible for being able to use computer and applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, email, proprietary software and attaching documents.
Report to work on time, as directed by the Merchandising Manager; performs above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating opportunities or issues timely and effectively to the appropriate person.
Customarily and is regularly engaged away from the Company’s place or places of business.
The employee is regularly engaged in sales which a consideration will be paid to the Company by the customer.
Reports to work, meetings, and scheduled business affairs on time, as directed by management and completes above listed tasks in a competent manner.
Must be available to occasionally travel overnight (average 40/50 nights per year)”.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee must occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions and in wet humid conditions.
The noise level of the work environment is moderate.
