Client Relations and Order Processing Associate (Food Manufacturing)
Responsibilities:
* Enter orders accurately and promptly into the company ERP system, including order amendments, status updates, and expediting.
* Monitor order status and proactively communicate delays or shortages to customers, ensuring a seamless experience.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate on-time order deliveries and resolve production or shipping issues.
* Engage daily with customers via email, phone, and in-person to promptly address inquiries and provide exceptional service.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of our food products, ingredients, manufacturing processes, and packaging to assist customers effectively.
* Maintain and update customer and company databases with accuracy.
* Handle and document consumer complaints, ensuring resolution and compliance with customer databases.
* Maintain thorough record-keeping in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
* Listen to customer concerns attentively and provide timely resolutions.
* Coordinate sample requests with warehouse operations for processing and shipment.
* Strive to exceed customer expectations and ensure satisfaction through proactive service.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of experience in order processing, customer service, or related roles, preferably within food manufacturing.
* Proficiency with ERP systems and customer databases.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns efficiently.
* Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Knowledge of food industry regulations and compliance requirements.
* Understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
* Familiarity with the company's products, including ingredients, manufacturing processes, and packaging.
* Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
* Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
