About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Digital & Marketing Operational Excellence and Governance to lead the transformation of the marketing organization in the digital space. The successful candidate will be a change agent with a strong background in change management, digital marketing transformation, and operations management. This role involves spearheading strategies to enhance operational performance, streamline processes, and cultivate a culture of excellence. The VP will be responsible for managing a team of operational excellence professionals, collaborating with business and marketing leaders to achieve operational targets, and driving the adoption of enterprise marketing operating models. Additionally, the role includes overseeing strategic marketing initiatives, serving as the central point of contact for portfolio escalations, and ensuring internal controls and risk assessments are in place.Applicants for this role at the company should have at least 15 years of program management experience in a marketing, operations, or operational excellence capacity, with a preference for those with a background in financial services or insurance. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in strategic initiative execution, project coordination, and a strong focus on operations and budget management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with senior executives and across various organizational contexts. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Smartsheet/Excel capabilities, a concise and impactful communicator, and possess an executive presence.
