Job Overview enVerid is looking for an Application Engineer with a strong background in the design and operation of commercial building mechanical systems. As an Application Engineer, you will support project teams with the integration of HLR technology into engineering plans and specifications. Core Responsibilities Provide engineering support to mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) engineering firms by means of reviewing plans and specifications, populating HLR technology integration sketches, and attending meetings.
Develop technical resources (i.e., computational tools for equipment selections, design guides for equipment integration) to facilitate product adoption and integration.
Review data from customer relationship management (CRM) system to develop product application insights. Occasionally, contribute to the maintenance of enVerid’s CRM system to meet the needs of the sales team.
Contribute to the development of sales and marketing collateral: blog posts, PowerPoint presentations, case studies, white papers, conference submissions.
Ensure quality and consistency in recommendations for integrating HLR technology into engineering drawings and specifications.
Help to define project goals pertaining to indoor air quality and energy efficiency.
Work with buy/resell partners that are incorporating the HLR technology solution in their product portfolio. Occasional travel to meet with partners to provide product training and market education.
Occasional hands-on or remote troubleshooting of the systems and all associated energy monitoring tools.
Ensure quality and customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest level.
Required Qualifications Mechanical engineering degree
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated interest in high performance building design is a plus
AutoCAD or Revit knowledge
Critical thinking and problem solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
