Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing security team as a Security Engineer. You will play a crucial role in fortifying our digital infrastructure against emerging cyber threats. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect our organization's systems and data from cyber threats. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect the organization's systems and networks from cyber threats.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Design and implement security controls, configurations, and best practices across all technology platforms.
Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into the development lifecycle of new applications and systems.
Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to proactively address potential risks.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security-related matters, including incident response and compliance requirements.
Participate in the design and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization's ability to recover from security incidents.
Qualifications
2 - 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, email security, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and PCI DSS.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Relevant certifications, such as CISM, CISA, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, are a plus.
