We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Regional Sales Director to join our thriving sales team. This role is a permanent position, requiring up to 80% travel within the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our customer base within their assigned territory. They will lead and motivate a diverse sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded. This role requires a high level of familiarity with PT components (sprockets, gears, sheaves and pulleys) and/or Bulk MH equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors and conveyor pulleys), as well as a proven track record in outside sales.
Responsibilities:
As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned region.
Leading and motivating the sales team to achieve specific sales targets.
Identifying lucrative sales opportunities and converting them into new business.
Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and implementing improvements where necessary.
Keeping abreast of new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board.
Ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Addressing potential problems and suggesting prompt solutions.
Participating in decisions for expansion or acquisition.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Regional Sales Director, candidates must possess: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 4+ years of sales leadership experience.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Proven outside sales experience with a successful track record of selling to an established distributor base.
Familiarity with PT components (sprockets, gears, sheaves and pulleys) and/or Bulk MH equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors and conveyor pulleys).
Advanced communication and presentation skills.
A proven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teams.
Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematical skills.
A hunter mentality and demonstrated ability to bring in new business.
The ability to travel up to 80% within the region.
