Help Desk Technician

Summary/Objective
This position will have experience providing support for software, hardware and networking related issues in a help desk/technical support environment, superior customer service & troubleshooting skills. In addition, candidates will also have Point-of-Sale (POS) technical support experience OR restaurant industry knowledge/background with hands-on, 'user-level' POS experience.

Essential Functions
Requires excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated customer-focused, service-first approach
At least 2-3+ years of technical support/help desk support experience is required
Experience working in the Restaurant industry and/or experience providing POS (Point-of Sale) technical support for restaurants
Aloha POS experience is a major plus
Must be technically savvy with a strong overall technical aptitude and superior customer service skills•
Requires strong skills and proficiency level in troubleshooting, support, analysis and resolution
Experience supporting external end-users with software, hardware and networking related issues
Knowledge of networking topologies and computer operating systems
Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office programs
Additional Qualifications Must have excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize multiple priorities effectively; excellent time management & organization skills

Must be flexible in scheduling and have the ability to work various shifts/schedules including nights, weekends and holidays on an on-call basis.
Competitive compensation & benefits
Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in technical field or four years' experience.
Two years' relevant experience.
Experience in a customer service-related capacity.
