The Opportunity at Altana

The Product team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our Trade Compliance product suite. You’ll work closely with our clients, in-house subject matter experts, sales professionals, engineers, and data scientists to develop and improve our product experience on initiatives like:

Continuous Entry Monitoring : Design and build seamless intuitive user interfaces and API integrations to enable logistics service providers to screen, audit and verify shipments that cross international borders in real time.

Shipment Risk and Trust Scoring : Productize AI models and build out a customizable rules-based engine to allow our logistics customers to flag compliance risks and fast-track shipments based on their unique business requirements.

Altana Atlas Integration : Work cross-functionally to devise a unified user experience between Trade Compliance and the rest of Altana Atlas, help define a shared information architecture, and build out end-to-end workflows to bring the power of the Trade Compliance product suite to our enterprise and government customers.

You Will

In collaboration with product, engineering, and commercial teams, work to develop the overall product strategy, product roadmap, and feature specifications for Altana’s Trade Compliance product suite.

Define and manage customer-centric user experiences across each product, working in close collaboration with product design, front end development, internal subject matter experts, and external customers.

Work closely with our commercial team to build out our go-to-market plans and strategies; build a deep understanding of our market trends, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape

Develop and oversee processes for user and customer research in order to deeply understand customer needs and preferences across our target customer segments: customs agencies, logistics service providers, F500 enterprises, defense and intelligence agencies, and financial service providers

Collaborate closely with marketing, design, sales, and solutions teams to support coordinated and effective go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and customer success

You Have

Significant experience (generally 8+years) as a product manager in a complex space with multiple stakeholders.

Entrepreneurial sense of ownership of the success of the products, with full ownership and accountability of outcomes

Demonstrated success identifying commonalities across seemingly disparate user groups

Business-driven with a passion for technology - you crave identifying, defining, and solving user challenges through sophisticated technology delivered in intuitive user experiences

Excellent communication skills to clearly and concisely communicate complex topics to diverse stakeholders (engineers, customers, etc.) in written and verbal form

Experience in working closely with enterprise customers, complex user workflows, and intricate business requirements.

This role is based in New York, NY and candidates must be within commuting distance from our Brooklyn office.
