Cloud Administrator II
**US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED**
Cloud Administrator is responsible for maintaining and delivering key technologies streams for the service line multi-tenant and multi-cloud production-computing platform.
Resolves complex technology issues
Handles technical infrastructure tasks
Manages or executes activities related to technical maintenance and administration of the AWS, Oracle
Support and improve infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
Support and maintain configuration management solutions
Contributes technology subject matter expertise to the team
Interact with application vendors (e.g., AWS, Oracle, Azure) and ensures timely support guidance for technical inquiries
Collaborate and build working relationships with supporting teams (Service Delivery, Security, Engineering, and PMO)
Provides technical input for all maintenance requests that are approved via ITIL change management process.
Coordinates activities related to technical maintenance and administration of the infrastructure environments
Reviews monitoring reports and ensure all issues are being addresses
Create and maintain appropriate documentation for system activities
Coordinates and participate in application updates and upgrade projects
Ensures all ITIL processes (e.g., incident, problem, change, etc.) are followed
Participate in on-call support rotation, as appropriate
Trains, teaches and collaborates with Level 1 Analysts to provide mentorship and feedback around lessons learned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, other relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Advanced computing certification preferred
Advanced experience with Linux and Windows administration, particularly with servers in virtualized and hosted cloud environments
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle, or Microsoft Azure cloud provider experience for hosting and migration
Proficient in the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services related to patching in both Linux and Windows environments
Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, and networking
Ability to monitor services on production servers
5-10 years of experience in Systems Engineering/Analysis
Other Job Specific Skills
Proficient in Linux OS troubleshooting
AWS, Azure, OCI, Terraform certifications
Advanced Experience in writing, testing, implementing automation via GIT, Terraform, Ansible
Advanced knowledge of Nagios monitoring software and ability to perform version upgrades
Expertise in OS troubleshooting with a focus on patch management via Ansible
Familiarity with Desktop-as-a-service (Daas) specifically AWS Workspaces
Experience supporting technology in the Federal space
Experience in supporting customers in a ticket-based and email environment (ServiceNow)
Ability to translate complex technologies into simple to understand concepts for clients
Assist in the identification, definition and implementation of process improvement
Brings a high sense of urgency for all tasks
Strong multi-tasking abilities and able to provide timely responses
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within schedule
Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues by using process of elimination
Work Hours Requirements
Regular working hours in home country
Occasional flex time or overtime
Ability to participate in on-call support rotation
