Summary
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the performance of the Customer Service Representatives. This role will collaborate with Operations Leadership and Branch Management to produce efficient order processing and best-in-class customer satisfaction with the order experience
Essential Functions
Review existing and design and document new Customer Service policies and procedures with a focus on standardization where possible and documented exceptions where necessary
Audit and improve existing Customer Service related workflows to maximize efficiency, order accuracy and customer satisfaction
On-board and train newly hired Customer Service Representatives.
Design and implement testing to validate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
Assist Operations Directors and Branch Management with the coaching and management of Customer Service Representatives.
Participate with the integration of new businesses into the existing ILG operating processes
Regularly travel to branches to evaluate and improve Customer Service Representatives performance
Partner and collaborate with Operations and Sales departments to ensure procedures are understood and adequately meet customer expectations
All other job duties as assigned
Skills And Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to travel to branches approximately 1-2 weeks per month
Minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships
Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner
Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues
Displays willingness to make decisions
Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports, and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and makes timely decisions
Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated project and performance management
Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet and word process software and order processing systems.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in MS Word and Excel
