We are currently searching for an experienced Bridge EIT to support our Southwest Region located in Texas .
What you’ll be doing:
Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects using latest software and 3D Design Techniques
Assists the engineers in all phases of structures design
Assists the engineers in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates
Performs other duties as assigned
Participate in the collection and analysis of data and preparation of satisfactory designs
Perform design calculations and conduct investigative analyses toward completion of assigned design tasks, and direct preparation of design specifications
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Master’s degree preferred but not required
Emphasis in structural knowledge
1-5 years of structural related experience preferred
Previous DOT experience desired but not required
EIT (E.I) Certification is strongly desired
Experience with MicroStation (preferred) and/or AutoCAD
Previous structural modeling experience preferred
