Due to an internal promotion, the **Doubletree Crystal City** and **Embassy Suites Crystal City** are looking for a **Complex Director of Food & Beverage** to oversee both properties\!

Boasting 627 elegant guest rooms, 31,000 square feet of meeting space and 5 outlets\. the Doubletree Crystal City will be home base for this exciting Director of F&B role in the DC Metro area\. This position will also oversee the F&B operations at the Embassy Suites Crystal City and guide this operation to success\. With 269 guest rooms, 19,000 square feet of meeting space and 2 outlets \(a beautiful recently renovated restaurant, Tap Twelve\), this property will be an exciting challenge\.

The ideal candidate will be a hands on leader who is able to tackle multiple projects, has a talent for training and developing others and is exceptional in regards to building teams, maintaining relationships and financial expertise\. At least 2\-3 years experience an Assistant Director or Director of F&B is preferred\. Union management experience is a plus\.

**What will I be doing?**

As a Director of Food and Beverage, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service\.

+ Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation\.

+ Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs\.

+ Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards\.

+ Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service\.

+ Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff\.
