Job Statement
The VP of Sales will be responsible for general management for multiple sale regions, National Accounts, and Inside Sales including sales and management oversight, reporting, performance and development of Team Members to achieve optimum performance. The person in this position must have in depth experience in the Ocean Carrier, Logistics or Equipment Leasing industry and people management skills.

In collaboration with President of Chassis, develops and implements strategic sales plans to drive growth, generate revenue, and achieve company objectives.
Leads large, dynamic sales team including attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Provides leadership to the sales management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and high-performance.
Develops and implements annual business plans and manage to monthly, quarterly, and annual expense and revenue budgets.
Establishes clear sales metrics and benchmarks for measuring progress and maintaining focus.
Defines and oversees sales incentive programs ensuring they drive the behaviors necessary to meet company and individual goals
Maintain/adjusts account assignments and territories to drive company goals and reward performance
Manages key customer relationships and participates in closing strategic opportunities where necessary.
Hires and manages the National Account, Regional Sales Managers, Account Executives and Inside Sales associates assigned within the assigned area
Analyzes, reviews monthly, weekly and other reports for the assigned Sales personnel within the assigned area to ensure they are meeting/exceeding plan and provide direction and guidance for correction
Approves rental and lease pricing, and customer credits, in accordance with assigned authority levels provided by President
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned. (Other responsibilities is defined as temporary tasks that assist in the success, maintenance, or safety of the staff and facilities)
Standard Job Specifications
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years progressively responsible experience leading the strategy and execution of company-wide sales initiatives or business development
5+ years’ experience growing, managing, and scaling sales teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
Outstanding track record of meeting and/or exceeding revenue growth goals
Must have the ability and willingness to travel.
Flexible to work in an interactive environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and change
