Business Systems Analyst I

We are searching for a Business Systems Analyst I – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will develop clinical/business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions
Collaborates with internal core stakeholders to identify system issues and process needs, systems are being optimized
· Assists users in determining specific requirements to increase system effectiveness
· Analyze and evaluate existing and /or proposed systems
· Document the current state into future states of clinical/business processes
· Assists in vendor analysis and selection
· Uses data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business/clinical operation . Engages users in analysis and evaluation of functional models and prototypes; identifies dependencies
Supports continued area maintenance and program optimization
· Provides input to project upgrades and optimization
· Develops, schedules, and facilitates test plans
· Updates/develop downtime procedures for end-users
· Develops training programs and materials/documentation for all user types
· Identifies the impacts and dependencies for optimization and upgrades
· Analyzes impact on users and determines if additional training is required
Analyze system problems and modifications
· Analyzes the use of existing systems to identify and resolve problems
· Evaluates business procedures and problems for process improvement
· Assists users to resolve problems
· Documents issues, activities, and solutions employing standard methodology and utilities
Coordinates training
· Develops and maintains training materials and training environment
· Analyzes impact on users and determine if additional training is required
· Communicates with vendors to address problems and resolutions
· Schedules sessions with users to view new systems and upgrades
· Assists with the development and training of new hires and existing employees
Skills & Requirements
· Required H.S. Diploma or GED. Preferred Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or nursing
· 2 years’ experience in pharmacy
· Highly customer service oriented and self-motivated, takes initiative to problem solve, has multi-tasking ability, organized, detail-oriented, has good communication skills (both verbal and written), and a supportive team player
· Able to work independently
· Able to ensure close-loop communication
· Proficient or willing to gain proficiency, in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
