The Lead to Cash program has been established to improve Free Cash flow for HP by reducing disputed AR by 50%. This Senior Director will help drive transformation pan HP. The role requires strong understanding of E2E Order to Cash processes (Customer Master Data, Client Invoicing, Credit and Collections & Cash Application) The lead will need to drive strong cross functional collaboration between Finance/Sales/Supply Chain and 3rd party consolidation. The lead will work within the program to define/design and implement E2E Order to Cash processes inclusive of training, tools and reporting. The Lead to Cash finance leader is responsible to ensuring our strategic objectives, business requirements, and best practices are implemented, and the run teams have the proper change management, communication, training, and stakeholder engagement to be able to execute.
Responsibilities
• Directs the finance function for a large, complex business, or for a major finance sub-function within one of organization’s largest, most complex businesses.
• Leads planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of the organization's finance initiatives within area of accountability across the organization.
• Oversees allocation of financial and human capital for programs and projects and ensures timely and effective delivery of financial programs.
• Develops and monitors key performance metrics to track functional progress and inform strategic decision-making.
• Establishes extensive external vendor relationships, ensuring smooth collaboration and optimized services.
• Develops and maintains policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company for all financial and tracking metrics.
• Leads process improvement and policy development projects, oversees operational success, aligns strategies, integrates activities with major organizational functions, and owns numerous measurable goals.
• Represents the organization in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish the brand presence.
• Serves as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business, while also developing organizational policies and authorizing their implementation.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 15+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
