Interior Designer/Project Manager Category: Interior Design Location: San Francisco Job Description LDI is looking for a full time Residential Designer/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring with them a passion for interior design, an aesthetic vision in line with our own, plus the ability to multi-task and successfully manage deadlines. The emphasis for this position is on project management.
We are a collaborative group and value both creative skills as well as organizational skills; the right person for this position has a can-do attitude coupled with a personality that takes the initiative and wants to work in a dedicated, design-focused environment.
Job Requirements:
Support Senior Designers in the management & execution of high-end residential projects
Team player and ability to develop courteous and professional relationships with Clients, Architects, Contractors and Vendors.
Responsibilities Include:
Creating project budgets, timelines and proposals
Knowledge of manufacturers and vendors for sourcing materials and furnishings
Provide project status updates to Principal & Senior Designer during weekly meetings
Organization and maintenance of project-related documents and samples
Documentation of project meetings, team meeting minutes and agendas
Coordinate and attend project meetings
Ability to travel on own to job sites outside Bay Area
Ability to communicate with clients, architects and contractors in concise, clear and respectful manner.
Job Requirements Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum qualifications required:
3-5 years of experience working with a high-end interior design or architectural firm
Bachelors degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills, including space planning, drawing and rendering
Ability to create a set of construction and millwork drawings, specifications and schedules
Excellent skills in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, In-Design, Microsoft Office Suite
Practiced in Studio Webware project management and time keeping
